Microsoft PowerPoint Tips-Active Slide Show

Slide Show Presentation B, W, Ctrl +P Keyboard Shortcut

During Slide Show Presentation there are some keys that we can use to manipulate the screen.

• B keyboard letter: to display black screen on the monitor or LCD projector, rather than switch the projector off. This purpose is to gain more audiences focus on our speaks instead of watching the screen.

 When we press "b"on the keyboard during the slide show presentation the screen become black.

To return back to the slide show press "b" one more time.

• W keyboard letter : to display white screen on monitor or LCD projector, we can use white screen/blank screen to write or draw anything using pen from Pointer option. Press "W" again back to the presentation.

We can write or draw anything on this blank/white screen using Pointer option (right click somewhere to open the Pointer option.

•  Ctrl + P : free to write or draw something ( annotation ) on the active presentation.

Right click anywhere on the active screen to view pointer option, to erase or clear any annotation

We can save the annotation into our presentation permanently.

Microsoft Windows Logo/Microsoft Windows Simbol Keyboard keys function:

• Windows Logo: Open Start menu program
• Windows Logo+R: open Run dialog box
• Windows Logo+M: Minimize all opened program/application
• SHIFT+Windows Logo+M: Undo minimize all (return back to all opened applications)
• Windows Logo+F1: open Windows Help
• Windows Logo+E: Open Windows Explorer
• Windows Logo+F: open Search for Find files or folders
• Windows Logo+D: Minimize all opened windows and application and displays the active desktop
• CTRL+Windows Logo+F:  to Find computer in the network
• CTRL+Windows Logo+TAB: Switch to any opened application or windows
• Windows Logo+TAB: switch to taskbar active applications
• Windows Logo+Break: open System Properties

Add Trusted Site - GPO Windows Server 2008

1. Edit your GPO Setting - Select "User Configuration-Policies-Administrative Templates-Windows Components/Internet Explorer/Internet Control Panel/Security Page-Site to Zone Assignment List"

2.  Click Show Button to add the list

3. Add domain or Sites that you one to put in the Trusted sites list

Add any websites with value name and 1, 2, 3 or 4 as value.

1. Intranet zone
2. Trusted Sites zone
3. Internet zone
4. Restricted Sites zone
